REASON

Quality. Stability. Value.

Shimomuragyu is a trusted Wagyu brand known for its quality, stable supply, and cost efficiency.

POINT1

Exceptional Marbling, Consistent Across the Board

Unlike typical Wagyu brands where quality can vary by producer, Shimomuragyu maintains exceptional standards through a unified system managed by a single, dedicated group.
This results in a significantly higher average BMS, with finely marbled texture, tender mouthfeel, and rich, savory flavor that sets it apart.

POINT2

Worry-Free
Wagyu Sourcing, Backed by Trusted Supply

Shimomuragyu maintains a stable supply system, with an average carcass weight exceeding 500kg per head — surpassing the industry average of 480–500kg — and consistently high production volume.
Thanks to our fully integrated, ranch-owned operation, we can also accommodate custom specifications tailored to customer needs.
Aiming to raise 10,000 head of cattle annually by 2030, Shimomuragyu continues to deliver both quantity and quality — without compromise.

POINT3

Exceptional Value,
Made Possible by Our Fully Integrated Process

By minimizing distribution middle costs and maintaining full control over lineage and cattle care, Shimomuragyu delivers premium Kuroge Wagyu with consistency and value.
This allows our clients to source exceptional quality beef at a more competitive cost.
"Shimomuragyu" is the brand that makes no compromise between taste and price.

STORY

The Secret Behind Raising Authentic Wagyu

A Legacy of Almost 100 Years, Rooted in Cattle Farming

What began with our founder raising cattle for farming has grown into a legacy spanning three generations. At the heart of Shimomuragyu’s excellence lies our unwavering commitment to a fully integrated system — from breeding to finishing — all within our own ranch.
We oversee every stage in-house: breeding, fattening, and distribution, maintaining strict quality control throughout.
Our fattening division is constantly evolving through research and skill enhancement to produce even safer, more flavorful beef. Meanwhile, our breeding specialists carefully select superior female Kuroge cattle to ensure genetic quality and consistency.
By operating dedicated in-house breeding and finishing departments, we streamline production and management — ultimately delivering world-class Wagyu at a significantly optimized cost.

A Proprietary Feed Formula, Perfected Over Almost 100 Years

Crafted in-house and kept strictly confidential, our custom feed is tailored to each animal’s growth stage and individual condition. It minimizes excess fat, enhances umami, and yields superior meat with excellent efficiency — ultimately benefiting our wholesale partners as well.
By controlling feed production ourselves, we ensure optimal nutrition at every phase: skeletal development, marbling onset, and flavor-enhancing maturation. This precision feeding supports consistent quality and maximized value from every head of cattle.

  • Stress-Free Environment, Tailored to Each Animal
    Stress-Free Cattle Care

Stress-Free Environment, Tailored to Each Animal

We care for every animal individually, creating a low-stress environment that supports both health and meat quality. Beyond optimal ventilation and stocking density, we provide routine shampooing, massage therapy, and regular blood testing to monitor well-being.
This meticulous approach ensures that each head of cattle is raised in peak condition.

Superior Beef Begins with Superior Bloodlines

At Shimomuragyu, we place the highest importance on pedigree. We maintain strict health management for mother cows, using blood testing and ICT-based data systems to minimize risk and ensure the consistent birth of high-quality calves.
Exceptional Wagyu starts long before fattening — it starts with genetics.
